Once upon a time, someone told a young girl “Write what you know.”
But at that point in her life, the young girl thought she already knew pretty much ALL there was to know in life, so she was like:
But then, LIFE happened. And she went from traipsing her way through a journalism degree to working 50+ hours a week in an office as a hospital admin. An OFFICE. Which was pretty much like:

And she went to go work on a CRUISE SHIP. Which, contrary to popular belief, was absolutely NOTHING like:

Anyway, it’s a long story, but eventually she ended up here:

Anyway, the moral of this story is, you never know where you’ll end up, or how.

Have you ever considered doing stand up? Or maybe that WAS what you were doing on the cruise ship. As for “write what you know”, hmm, wonder what JK Rowling, Stephen King, Margaret Mitchell et al would say about that? Pieces of what you know, maybe…
