I’ve done it. I’ve finally done it.
From now and for the next two years, I am no longer employed to be anything else but a full-time writer. Novelist. Starving artist, if you will. Imaginaire extraordinaire. Bum.
From now on, my only occupation is to make stuff up and record it in a semi-coherent, chronological manner.
As Oscar Wilde said, “Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”
Or, as Daniel Tosh would say, “Even when I was a kid, my imaginary friend would play with the kid across the street. I’d be like, “Hey, so I guess I’ll see you later,” and he’s, like, “Whatever, queer”.”
Yes, I did just combine an Oscar Wilde quote with a Tosh quote. Welcome to my screwed up world, folks.
You might want to hold onto something, y’all.
Seriously awesome. I expect great things of you!
