Thursday’s Children 8.1.13: Inspired by Floating

Today’s TC post comes a day late. But in my defense, I didn’t realize yesterday was Thursday…so.

Anyway, I recently stumbled across this photographer’s website, while I was searching for cool photos to create a “future cover” mockup for one of my books. (Oh, don’t act like you’ve never done it, fellow writers!) Her name is Elena Kalis, and basically I fell in love with her entire My Fair Ladies project. To me, so many of her pictures PERFECTLY captured the kind of eerie, dreamlike state represented in GOODNIGHT, MY LOVE.

Here is one of my favorites:

Doesn’t just seeing this picture make you want to read the book? Or heck, even write a new one of your own?

  1. It makes me want to gasp for air, and then maybe write a book. Actually the book I’m writing involves a drowning, so…maybe just get back to writing that book.
